Craft the DayZ Steam badge
The DayZ badge is built from its ~8-card trading card set. Steam gives every owner 4 card drops for free - but only with playtime, which is exactly what FreeSteamIdler automates. How do I get the DayZ badge on Steam?
Collect the full ~8-card set (about half drops free from playtime - which our idler farms for you - and the rest via trading or the Community Market), then craft it from your Steam Badges page. Each craft grants 100 XP and a random reward (emoticon, background, or coupon).
Can I level the DayZ badge past level 1?
Yes - the badge can be crafted five times (levels 1-5), each requiring a fresh full card set. Only the first 4 cards drop free per account; the rest come from the market, so most crafters sell idle-farmed dupes to fund additional sets.
What is the foil DayZ badge?
A rarer variant crafted from foil cards, which drop very rarely (a small chance per regular drop). Foil sets are usually bought on the market - expect to pay a significant multiple of the regular card prices.
