Steam achievement unlocker: complete your games on autopilot
Achievement Hunter is a Steam achievement bot that runs entirely in the cloud: our agent plays your games on our servers 24/7 and makes real progress for you, earning achievements along the way like any player working through the game. Nothing to download, nothing running on your PC.
You link your Steam account once (we store only an encrypted session token - never your password), toggle Achievement Hunter on, and the agent gets to work while your playtime climbs. It plays one game at a time per account.
A modern alternative to Steam Achievement Manager (SAM)
Steam Achievement Manager is the classic desktop achievement unlocker, and its biggest weaknesses are built in: it runs on your PC, you drive it by hand, and it happily unlocks 200 achievements in a single second with zero playtime attached. That instant, all-at-once pattern is exactly what makes unlocked profiles look fake.
A cloud achievement agent fixes all three problems. There's no software on your machine, no manual clicking, and achievements come from an agent actually playing the game over time - while your hours in that game grow alongside, so your playtime backs up your completion rate.
Steam achievement unlocking FAQ
What is a Steam achievement bot?
A tool that earns Steam achievements for you instead of you grinding them yourself. FreeSteamIdler's version is an agent that plays your game in the cloud on our servers and makes progress for you, so achievements arrive over time the way they would for any player.
How is this different from Steam Achievement Manager (SAM)?
SAM is a desktop app you run and click yourself, and it can unlock everything instantly - which leaves an obvious fingerprint (100% completion with 0.2 hours of playtime). Our agent plays the game in the cloud and makes progress over time, while real playtime accrues alongside. Same result, none of the babysitting.
Can I get banned for using an achievement unlocker?
There are no known VAC or account bans from using Achievement Hunter - VAC looks for cheat software on your own machine, and nothing is ever installed on your PC. As an extra precaution, Achievement Hunter never touches anti-cheat protected competitive titles.
Which games does it work on?
Any game in your Steam library that has achievements, one game at a time per account. Competitive titles protected by anti-cheat are excluded by design. Turn it on for a game, let it finish, then move to the next one.
Is the achievement unlocker free?
It's a premium feature. Every paid package includes 30 days of Achievement Hunter, subscriptions include it while active, and the Lifetime plan includes it forever. Packages start at $0.99.
Does it unlock all achievements instantly?
Deliberately not. The agent plays through the game over time, so achievements arrive gradually as it makes progress. Instant 100% completion is the number-one tell of a faked profile - the whole point of the agent is to avoid it.
